Champoussin : This Valaisan village, built in the architectural style typical of the Val d’Illiez, will enchant you with its rustic authenticity. The resort is situated at an altitude of 1,600m with the majestic Dents du Midi Mountains as a backdrop. Champoussin offers a multitude of activities for everyone: paragliding, sledging, snowshoeing, horseback riding, hiking. Not to mention a goat farm to visit with cheese making demonstrations and cheese tasting to follow, an alpine museum to explore.. The annual winter sledging race is a breath-taking event where competitors hurl themselves downhill on everything from antique hay sledges to sleek modern machines…
